Tubeless Ready
Tubeless tires have many advantages: You can drive with less air pressure and therefore have better traction, the rolling resistance is lower than with a hose, and when there is no hose, the risk of breakdowns is also reduced. MAXXIS TR tires are better prepared for mounting with sealant than other tubeless-ready tires, because the bead of our TR tires is fully covered with a rubber layer like a true UST tubeless tire. This means that tubeless mounting is successful with the first inflation and with little fluid on all rims that meet the standard dimensions. Regular MAXXIS MTB tires can also be mounted with sealant like tires from other manufacturers, since the fabrics of the carcass are very dense. However,

Superior running performance thanks to three different rubber compounds in different tread positions. The base layer ensures low rolling resistance and the stability of the profile blades. The compound in the center of the tread provides the best grip on any surface, while the extremely cushioned compound in the shoulder blocks ensures the best possible grip when cornering.

EXO+ PROTECTION
Our EXO+ construction combines two of our best puncture protection materials: SilkShield and EXO. SilkShield overlay runs from heel to heel with an EXO overlay along the flanks. Combined, these two materials create EXO+, which improves tread puncture protection by 27%, sidewall durability by 51% and puncture resistance by 28%.

Wide Trail Casing
Wide Trail (WT) construction optimizes tread arrangement and tire shape on today's wider rims. Traditional tires are designed for narrow rims and are too angular on wide rims for optimal performance.
WT tires are optimized for a 35mm inner rim width, but work perfectly on all rims with an inner dimension between 30 and 40mm.
