DESCRIPTION 

The new MAXXIS ASSEGAI Tire has been designed by triple world DH champion Greg Minnaar to offer maximum performance on the most radical descents. We could say that the Maxxis Assegai tire is the result of merging the Minion DHF, the DHR II, the Shorty and the High Roller. The best of each tire has been chosen to combine in what we believe to be the best downhill tire.

Double Down (DD) technology with a double butyl-reinforced casing, which provides optimum protection against cuts and punctures, and great safety.

The 3C MaxxGrip compound is the compound for those looking to prioritize grip over everything else. Therefore it is indicated for the more gravity, Enduro and DH variants. The hardness of this compound ranges from 40 to 50 Shore A.
